                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                  CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 (FINAL), CONTRACT NO.
                  SS-1-95, CONSTRUCTION OF M.L. KING STREETSCAPE
                  BETWEEN GEORGIA AVENUE TO HOUSTON STREET, WITH
                  SAFFLES CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, WHICH CHANGE
                  ORDER INCREASES THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY EIGHT
                  THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY AND 89/100
                  DOLLARS ($8,890.89) FOR A REVISED CONTRACT
                  PRICE OF TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND,
                  SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTEEN AND 89/100 DOLLARS

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Change Order No. 2 (Final), Contract No. SS-1-95,
       Construction of M. L. King Streetscape between Georgia Avenue to
       Houston Street, with Saffles Construction Corporation, which
       change order increases the contract amount by $8,890.89 for a
       revised contract price of $225,717.89.
